2001 Graham Morin Award Winner
Patrick O'Neil
In memory of Graham Morin we have started a
tradition this year of having the coach choose a current member of the team that
he feels follows the model of behavior and achievements that Graham set while he
was on this earth. At the conclusion of this year's auction
the coach of the team, Boyd Ballard, made the presentation of our Graham
Morin Inspirational Award to Patrick O'Neil. This award is given in
memory of Graham, a USA Everett member who
passed away last fall at the age of 18. It became very emotional as
memories of Graham were talked about by the coach prior to presenting the award.
Patrick lives in Sedro Woolley and wrestled in the Schoolboy division where he
won the 2001 Washington State Greco-Roman title for his weight group.
Congratulations to Patrick for being the first winner of this award. |
