PREP WRESTLING — Three Local Excel in Davis Invite
YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC
East Valley, Prosser and Eisenhower all captured two individual championships in
the Davis Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.
East Valley's Kameron Hopkins, who was named the tournament's outstanding
wrestler, won the 112-pound title while teammate Scott Thompson claimed the 103
division. Thompson scored the tourney's most pins in the least amount of time,
two falls in 56 seconds.
Gilbert Bazan (119) and Tony Castillo (152) were individual championships for
the Cadets and Prosser's Manuel Plata (125) and heavyweight Brian Bishop both
recorded individual crowns.

title for the Rams.
