Ranking Criteria for 2005-the present

Below is what I have put together from the ideas people sent in. This is an ALL-style ranking and I used USAW tournaments that everyone can attend in all age groups. If there was not a USAW equivalent (High school folkstyle), then I used the WIAA or the NHSCA Senior Open. Please give any final input for consideration. I will also need volunteers to do each age group, as we did last year. I will do the Juniors. Please contact me if you did an age group last year, and would like to do it again. Thanks. These will be done after Nationals this summer.

1. WIAA High School state Championships at the Dome - 8 to 1 Points, 1st = 8 Pts, 8th = 1 Pt.
OR Washington State Folkstyle Championships - 6 to 1 Points, 1st = 6 Pts, 6th = 1 Pt.

2. NHSCA Senior Nationals OR USA National Kids Folkstyle Championships - 12 to 5 Points, 1st = 12 Pts., 8th = 5 Pt.

3. Washington State Freestyle Championships - 6 to 1 Points, 1st = 6 Pts, 6th = 1 Pt.

4. Washington State G/R Championships - 6 to 1 Points, 1st = 6 Pts, 6th = 1 Pt.

5. USAW Kids Western Regional Freestyle - 10 to 5 Points, 1st = 10 Pts, 6th = 5 Pt.
OR Best one finish in any USAW Junior/Cadet Regional Freestyle - 10 to 5 Points, 1st = 10 Pts, 6th = 5 Pt.

6. USAW Kids Western Regional Greco-Roman - 10 to 5 Points, 1st = 10 Pts, 6th = 5 Pt.
OR Best one finish in any USAW Junior/Cadet Regional Greco-Roman - 10 to 5 Points, 1st = 10 Pts, 6th = 5 Pt.

7. USAW National Wrestling Championships Freestyle - 12 to 5 Points, 1st = 12 Pts., 8th = 5 Pt.

8. USAW National Wrestling Championships G/R - 12 to 5 Points, 1st = 12 Pts., 8th = 5 Pt.

In the Open class I made Folkstyle state equal to freestyle because of the numbers involved.
