Tournament Highlights

Onalaska traveled east of the mountains to find some tough competition. This tournament was scattered with returning state placers. The loggers were once again lead by returning two time state placer (7^th in 2005, 4^th in 2006) Quinton Vickaryous. He defeated state placer Narciso Alvarez (3^rd in 2006) of Leavenworth 10-2 to take his second straight championship at 145lbs. Onalaska’s Cody Lambert also won his second tournament at with a first round pin. He now is 5-0 with 5 pins. Placing second for the Loggers was Rick Woodruff at 140 and Shawn Witzel at 215. A third place medal was awarded to Willie Randall at 152 and fourth went to Steven Lian 135 and Weylin Womack 171.
