Rockets win Three Rivers 12/11 Castle Rock had five finalists and three champions to win the title at the 12-team Three Rivers Classic wrestling tournament hosted by Mark Morris on Saturday. The Rockets tallied 206.5 points to hold off second-place Heritage (187). R.A. Long was third (159), Mark Morris fifth (109), Woodland eighth (85.5), the Kelso JVs ninth (78), Rainier 10th (78), Kalama 11th (57) and Clatskanie 12th (42). For Castle Rock, Jordan Booth was first at 120 pounds, Levi Godinho claimed the title at 160 and Levi Shipman was first at 170. Carson Horton (112) and Kris Erdelbrock (138) each took second. Tanner Ackerly won the title at 126 for RAL and Evan Earnest was first at 285. Jakob Collins finished second at 106. For Mark Morris, Jordan Stello (113) was first and Tim Cacheling (182) and Steven McElwea (220) each took second. Woodland's Andrew Bosch won the title at 106, Monte Tefft of the Kelso JV placed second at 145, Kalama's Mike Clizbe (126) and Casey Heaton (132) each finished second. |
