WHO: Open to any male or female high school athlete.

PAIRINGS: Double elimination. Championship bracket rounds will be 2-2-2. Consolation bracket round will be 2-1-1.
WEIGHT CLASSES: 108, 115, 125, 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 195, 285 (these are scratch weights, no weight allowances)
RULES: Folkstyle with Running Time, Double Elimination. Overtime: 30 seconds ride to win or escape to win. Choice goes to person with first takedown. If no takedown, coin flip will be used. There will be no time restrictions between matches.
WEIGH-IN: 7:00 a.m. Wrestling begins at 9:00 a.m.
AWARDS: T-Shirts awarded to the top three in each weight class.
ENTRY FEE: $25 per person. Advance registration will be accepted. Fax (503-352-2209) or e-mail (wals1573@pacificu.edu) Line-ups on Fri., Nov. 9 if possible. This should improve separation on the brackets.
TOWELS & LOCK: Please bring your own. Bathroom and shower facilities are available.
ACCOMODATIONS: Those athletes traveling more than 100 miles one way can sleep on the mats only if they are ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT with their school. For information on lodging in the Forest Grove/Hillsboro areas, please visit the Pacific University website.
To meet state activity association standards as an open tournament (non-counting competition), the following will apply:
- All wrestlers will compete unattached.
- No school uniforms may be worn (shorts and t-shirts on international singlet’s are acceptable).
