Information regarding Folkstyle State.
Parking in the dome lot will start at 6 am and will be $10. There is free parking on the street and in the parking garage 2 blocks west of the dome. There is also free parking in downtown Tacoma with a light rail connection to the dome.
You must wear a singlet to weigh-in. By WIAA rule no school singlets can be worn. Wrestlers will need their USA Card to pick up their weigh-in card. Headgear is not required but you can wear it.
No coolers are allowed in the dome. Personal snacks and water bottles are okay.
Starting at 6:30 spectators can buy their admissions ticket at the ticket booths near lower gate A. Then they and their wrestlers will need to enter through lower gate A for weigh-in. You will be allowed to leave and come back so keep your ticket stub. If you stay in the dome you will need to stay on the floor until the concourse level is open at approximately 8 am. Open wrestlers need to enter through the pass gate at lower gate F. They are over 18 and the Tacoma Dome staff will not let them in without a ticket.
Tournament officials and volunteers need to enter through lower gate F on the west side of the dome. Your name will be on the pass list and you must check in to get your pass.
Registration will start at 6:45 am with weigh-in to follow. You will be divided up by last name. A-M in the Northwest corner and N-Z in the Southeast corners of the floor.
You will be allowed on the floor to watch the tournament but only Bronze level coaches will be allowed inside the gates to coach. All others must stay outside the gate or in the stands. One parent of Pee-Wee or Bantam wrestler will be allowed to escort your child to the mat but you must then exit to the outside of the gates to watch the match.
We have over 1600 entries at this time so be ready for a long wrestling filled day.

Hello to whom it concerns that was a very poorly done tournament you can’t expect kid to be up and ready for 18 to 20 hours very disappointed. Craig
