Dave, what is the criteria needed for a girls team as far as numbers? 7 or 9 I think is what I was told is the minimum. Any help on this? Pasco has 9-12 & I have not seen them on rankings at all.
Centralia over Othello?!? Othello beat BOTH Centralia and Kelso at Kelso tournament (which by the Centralia took 3rd)….Warden is legitimate #1 but Othello #3?? That is a head scratcher IMO.
Nooksack Valley Girls have beat a handful of the teams on the list in tournaments this year. Some more than once……… Just sayin’,…. I know your job is hard!!
Only bad thing about Othello is they have a good tournament team and for state they don’t get enough girls to state. At tournaments everyone scores but come post season u can’t take ur whole team to state just bc. They have to earn there way n they have difficulties doing so.
Warden is tough and manages to get a handful of girls to state year after year. Be tough team and should be the team to beat
Nooksack Girls placed 2nd at Washington Dream Duals.
Beat Bellingham
Beat Mt. Vernon
Beat Lynden
Beat Stanwood
Beat Othello
Beat Puyallup, and Lakewood
All in Duals:
Lost to Sedro by 1 point! What a night of wrestling that was!
Nv did beat Othello by three but I noticed Perez or Zambrano were in line up both state participants. Noticed Reyes out a beating on Chloe wow.
We’re not in line up sorry!
All in all, not bad for giving up 3 weight classes all year, 4 of the girls are 2nd year wrestlers and the rest of the line-up are first timers…
Just wondering who won dream duals? (Girls)
Where is Sedro-Woolley at?
I believe your “Puyallup” listing is actually Rogers High School. There is a Puyallup High School in the same district as Rogers, but I believe Rogers has a larger girls’ team and competed in the dream duals also.
